According to online application guides, 2019-current BMW R1250GS Adventure's do require the Group 14 battery. I've had customers mention their bike came with a Deka battery from the factory, so it is possible that your bike came with an ETX14. The "L" on the ETX14L means that the polarity is reversed from standard and the negative terminal is now on the Left. Your R1250 does NOT call for the "L" version. Be careful and always check your battery's polarity when your group size has either option like the Group 14 does.
