Which replacement battery for my JNC660 jump starter? DURDC-20C or Vision SCP12220?
Duracell 12V 20Ah Deep Cycle AGM Battery M5 Terminals
Original battery is a BB HRC22-12S, rated at 12v, 22AH, 425 cranking amps and 1700 full load amps (Mfr. specs). Mfr. alternate is a Proformer JNC105. I have M5 inserts for connection. Given the intended service and my usage (infrequent- used as emergency backup ) which battery provides the longest life expectancy? Are there any others you would recommend? Note that I charge my unit at least twice a year if not used more often.

Both of those batteries have the M5 terminals you specified and their physical dimensions are the same. The only difference between those two options is the Duracell is Deep-Cycle rated, and the Vision is general purpose. The original BB HRC22-12 was not a deep-cycle, so the Duracell would be an upgrade and the Vision would be a more straight across replacement. Since you don't use this jump starter heavily, whether the deep-cycle upgrade is worth it would be up to you, but deep-cycle does increase durability and expected lifespan.
