Are the M8 terminals on this battery different from the dual terminal version?
VMAX XTR6-235M 6V 235Ah AGM Deep Cycle Battery – Group GC2 – M8 Terminals
These will be installed in my motorhome where two heavy cable ends often overlap on the M8 terminal. I do not use the automotive posts.

This XTR6-235M uses 8mm x 1.25 inserts, and the dual terminal XTR6-235 uses 5/16-18 studs. 8mm and 5/16" are almost exactly the same diameter, they simply have a different thread pitch. Either version will accommodate your setup, but the insert style is a little more flexible because if your cable eyelets are too thick when stacked, you can simply use longer bolts. That's really the only advantage of bolts vs studs.
