The CP6K is rated for up to 6,000 watt systems, but NOT by itself and only if your alternator is correctly sized. All VCP's must be wired in parallel with another battery that will supply the capacity for the system, while the VCP handles the high energy bursts. Also reference the VCP Selection & Alternator Requirement Chart to properly size the VCP to your audio system and the vehicle.
