My track chair came with a nut & bolt battery. Should I stay with this or switch to M6 when replacing the battery?

Either terminal type would likely connect just fine, but there is a significant difference between this DURA12-100C/FR and the DURDC12-100P with the nut & bolt terminals. A track chair should have a deep-cycle battery since it likely gets discharged frequently, and also deeply. The DURDC12-100P is the deep-cycle version you need, but happens to also have the terminals matching your original battery. Terminal type you could be flexible with, but a non-deep cycle battery would have a much shorter lifespan in an application like your track chair.
