GMI Energy doesn’t charge a core fee on any of our products, including the VMAX V35-857 12V 35Ah Mobility Scooter Battery Set. You can take your old batteries to most auto parts stores, which gladly accept cores for free.
If your previous terminals are the nut & bolt type with a flag post, there’s no issue. Instead of the bolt going through the flag horizontally, it will thread vertically into the VMAX battery. The same bolt connection concept for cables with eyelets or ring terminals—just a slightly different setup that keeps connections more flush with the battery.
