Absolutely! If the maximum heater size of 24" x 12" will adequately reach both batteries, then that is a great way to simply the installation and reduce cost. The trade-off is one heater only produces 18 watts of heat. Depending on the climate you'll be using this battery heater in, you may need 18 watts per battery to keep them sufficiently warm. Make sure to fit this into your calculations when deciding what the best approach is to keep your batteries warm.
